Maestro Dobel Tequila at Frieze Los Angeles
Maestro Dobel Tequila was thrilled to return as the Official Tequila of Frieze Los Angeles in February 2023, where it showcased its final iteration of The Mexican Golden Age with an exhibition of The Modern Mexican Chair, celebrating the cultural richness of a pivotal period and recognizing Mexican architects and artisans.
As part of its commitment to supporting LatinX artists, Maestro Dobel Tequila partnered with Frieze and L.A.-based Mexican-American artist Ruben Ochoa, supporting his exhibition of mobile gallery, CLASS: C. Maestro Dobel Tequila provided branded tokens redeemable for a complimentary cocktail at its footprint space for the first 100 guests purchasing tamales from Ochoa's cart, a successful initiative that saw Ruben's cart selling 1,000 tamales, with roughly 300 tokens being redeemed at the Artpothecary space.
The brand’s participation at Frieze Los Angeles was met with tremendous success, with the fair drawing over 35,000 visitors and 120 galleries, the largest number of participants and attendees to date. Maestro Dobel Tequila received extensive media coverage, with 16 pieces of coverage garnering over 224 million earned media impressions and 60 earned social posts from media, influencers, and tastemakers, resulting in 3.6 million social impressions.
